Thales corporate responsibility policy recognised by UN Global Compact

Thales is proud to have achieved Global Compact Advanced level under the United Nations Global Compact programme. In recognition of its continuous progress in the area of corporate responsibility, the Global Compact recently raised Thales' performance level from Active to Advanced. Of the 7,000 Global Compact member companies, just 386 worldwide have achieved Global Compact Advanced level.

Thales wins agreement to upgrade the Norwegian Railway

Jernbaneverket (JBV), the Norwegian rail administration has awarded Thales a framework agreement to deliver a new interlocking system. For an amount of € 33 Million (NOK 240 Million), the first 3 projects for new signalling systems include the Sandnes-Stavanger line, the Ganddal cargo terminal and Høvik station The framework agreement has a duration of 10 years with an additional contract for services support over 25 years.
